T5-RS

QUANTUMのスタンダードを決めるT5-RS。
アルミ削り出し、シングルアジャスタータイプのダンパーです。

QUANTUM独自の低圧ガス・モノチューブ構造は、φ35mm小径ピストンからφ41mmメインピストンによるタフな減衰力まで、わずか5bar～8barのガス圧でキャビテーションの問題をなんなくクリア。
しなやかな乗り心地を実現するための源となっています。
その秘密はボディに内臓されたセカンドピストン。 アルミ削り出し、シングルアジャスタータイプのダンパーです。 全ての機能部品がシャフトと同軸上に最短距離でレイアウトされた、ハイレスポンス&ローフリクション構造は、最新のF1のトレンドそのままのデザイン。
ただ単に外部からのアジャスターを調整するだけでは成し得ない、基本性能を追求した究極の形と言えます。

T5-RSダンパーの大きな特長である微低速域（0.001m/sec～0,04m/sec）でのワイドな減衰力調整範囲は、ステアリングの切り始めやトラクション特性といった、ロールやピッチングの初期の動きをコントロールするのに優れた性能を発揮します。


QRS T5-RS damper is a simple, high performance shock absorber that can be internally configured easily for any track and can be tuned externally with a single shaft adjuster. This shaft adjuster can affect both low speed compression and rebound.
The concept of this design is that the shaft and functional components are located on the centerline, giving them minimal operating distances. Thus the response of this damper is extremely good for higher frequency and short travel situations.
T5-RS also features the 2nd-Piston positioned in the main cylinder which is designed to run lower gas pressures. (3bar to 8bar=40psi to 120psi)
The 2nd-Piston, depending on the how much target damping force is required, can be set to optimize the response time of the damper and allow for extremely low pressures without any risk of cavitation.
